I started riding a bike when I was a kid, and used road cycling for intensive endurance development as part of my training as a rower in my teenage years and early 20s. I’ve often been a commuter cyclist too. But it wasn’t until, in my late 30s, while training for a charity ride circumnavigating Tasmania, that a friend suggested I try Mega Spin – and I finally learnt decent cycling technique. This was all courtesy of my Mega Spin classes with Roxanne and Claud. I discovered I had not been using my gears effectively all those years, nor was my quad-dominant cycling style efficient. Now, whether I’m unfit, or even fit, I can maximise both my training effect and my speed on the road, following the technical & training skills I’ve developed through Mega Spin classes. I thoroughly recommend!
